About Ceiling Suspended Laminar Airflow

Laminar airflow ceiling is used where a centralized air conditioning plant can generate sterile airflow sufficient for OT table area with low operating costs. The homogenous supply of air provided by the HEPA filter surface facilitates the use of either single-layer laminar fabric. The sterile air is blown into the operating theatre s protection area via the entire outlet surface at very low levels of turbulence. Although the standard installation height is 520 mm, a minimum installation height of 350mm is feasible in certain projects and also special design to avoid beams interference. This compact construction offers customers considerable leeway in the lay-out of duct connections
